Marking the end of their former alias and the first leg of their career, Acetantina releases "Carmen Winstead." In some ways a logical conclusion to their former output, and in others a wild detour; Acetantina's newest release takes on a very similar approach to world-building that made their previous releases like "Blank Fashion Mystical" and "Temple of Null" so captivating. "Carmen Winstead" morphs dance music with skittering textures, minimal arrangements, and brooding low end on the most experimental project from Acetantina to date.

Its twelve track runtime features many varied takes on dance, ambient, and glitch; yet it all builds to a very distinct and unified overall vision. Gone are the bright colors of their previous work and instead they are replaced with shadowy figures, narrow sewers, and desaturated colors palletes.

"Carmen Winstead" certainly stands out amongst the rest of the Acetantina catalogue, and in a bold way that is a fitting first release with No Agreements from the promising artist.
